Shawn Rusich is a food fanatic. Growing up he worked alongside his mother, an established chef, preparing fine meals in many restaurants owned by his uncle.
By the age of 18 Shawn left home and enrolled in school for marketing and communications in Montreal, though always remained true to the art of cooking.
After finishing school, Shawn worked as the Communications Director for Diesel. After several years climbing the corporate ladder he moved to Paris, France where he worked in marketing and sales for Chloe.
Since returning to Canada, Shawn’s global experience and passion for communications have inspired him to launch his own company, Butter Public Relations. His work with clients in the past ranging from Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, [yellowtail] wine, Dove, Umbra, TD Bank and Kraft has given him credibility and knowledge to build on.
Recently featured in the National Post (February 12, 2011) as one of Canada’s “Worthy 30” by Shinan Govani, Shawn shows no signs of slowing until everyone is in love with food.
